Configure the Plugin Settings
Once the plugin is activated, open the "Settings" menu at the bottom of the right navigation. Click on the "Swarm API" settings option. You should now be looking at the Swarm API optional settings as seen below. Search for your swarm name and click on the thumbnail to select it as your current swarm. (NOTE: The plugin currently does not support mutiple swarms.)
The configurable fields are:
- Current Swarm: This is the swarm that data will be pulled from.
- Consumer Key: This allows you to have a higher per hour API rate limit.
- Custom CSS: This is the path, relative to the plugin directory in WordPress, where your CSS file is located.
- Show Module Headers: Check on or off. If on, headers such as "Recent Tweets" or "Recent Links" will be displayed.
- Show Module Subheaders: Check on or off, If on, subheader sentence will display below the header.
- Module options for Tweets, Photos, Links and Contributors: The remaining fields allow you to set the number of tweets, photos, links and contributors that will display. It also allows you to choose the order they display. The two options for order are "Chronologically" and "Karma." Chronologically sorts by time the data was added with the most recent at the top. Karma sorts the highest ranking data at the top, regardless of how old.
Once all the configurations are set, choose "Save Settings" and move on to the next step.
(Note: You can come back later and change these settings or deactivate the plugin all together if needed.)
